Lana is a qualified clinical counsellor, with 9 years of full time, formal professional training in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, and over 30 years of clinical experience. She presented numerous workshops and seminars for various agencies, such as Canadian Mental health association, Family Services of Greater Vancouver, Burnaby Family Life etc, and appeared on many radio and TV shows. Prior to moving to Canada and opening her own practice, Lana was a professor of psychology at Bradford University in England. She is registered as a Clinical Counsellor with BCACC.

Lana’s extensive knowledge in the area of human cognitive and emotional development, behaviour and interactions, in addition to her confident, direct, yet warm and accepting style have proven highly effective in assisting her clients to live happier and more
fulfilled lives.

Lana’s intensive 4 years of post-clinical-psychology training in integrative psychotherapy has further enhanced her therapeutic and counseling skills, equipping her with a unique and highly effective, efficient approach based on a coherent, research based theory. She considers her approach to be postmodern, as it integrates science of human development and behaviour with intuition that has been highly refined experientially.

As a result, Lana is able to assist her clients in reaching their therapeutic goals extremely fast.

Lana is a certified hypnotherapist, NLP and EMDR therapist, registered with the Crime Victims Assistance Program, WorkSafe and ICBC.
